Personal statement

I  joined Strathclyde University in 2009 as a Teaching Assistant in Italian, after teaching Italian for a year at various institutions in Kyiv (Ukraine). I graduated in Conference Interpreting and Translation (English and Russian) from the University of Trieste and I hold a Masters in Teaching Italian as Foreign Language (DITALS) from the Università per Stranieri of Siena.

Outside the University, I co-host the award winning Italian language learning podcast Coffee Break Italian.

I'm currently Subject Leader in Italian.
